About the Founder
At the heart of Assigned Angels Home Care is a deep commitment to compassion, dignity, and personalized care—values that have guided founder Judith Goulbourne throughout her remarkable healthcare journey.
With over 25 years of experience as a pulmonary nurse and nearly three decades in the healthcare field, Judith has dedicated her life to caring for others. Throughout her career, she witnessed firsthand a critical gap in care: patients discharged from hospitals without the support they truly needed, and seniors striving to maintain independence while quietly struggling at home.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference, Judith founded Assigned Angels Home Care to provide the kind of care she knew was missing—care that goes beyond basic assistance and focuses on genuine connection, safety, and emotional well-being. Her passion is also deeply personal. Having cared for her own aging loved one, Judith understands the challenges families face when navigating care decisions. This experience shaped her vision to create a service that feels less like an agency and more like an extension of the family.
